As a part of a broader study into the educational use of the Web and the perception staff and students have of its effectiveness, a survey was carried out in October 1999 on students in seven undergraduate subjects in the Faculty of Information Technology. A Technical Report on the associated survey of lecturers all subjects courses is also available.

A total of 329 students participated in the study.
